    new shrub progress

Kind of surprised this shrub (of quite a few that I ordered) is not looking so great, even though it is planted near another recent purchase from The Tree Store that looks great. Kind of difficult to give accurate ratings, when asked immediately after purchase, because we can never know where the plant and the weather elements (along with our care) will lead. It's doing sort of OK a couple weeks after planting.

Received two bare root plants but the plants in water as recommended. One developed buds and was planted. The other is still in water but no buds yet.
