Sugar Maple – An Excellent Source of Maple Syrup

Why Sugar Maple (Acer Saccharum)?

Sugar maple, scientifically known as acer saccharum, is a species of flowering plant in the lychee and soapberry family Sapindaceae. Its natural habitat is found in the hardwood woods of the eastern United States and eastern Canada, known chiefly for its source of maple syrup and the vibrant autumn foliage. This tree is excellent for creating a focal point and ornamental interest in the commercial and residential landscape, providing exciting colors, textures, and, of course, shade.

Maple sugar, maple syrup, and hardwood lumber (that may be used for the production of furniture, flooring, and musical instruments) are all essential commercial products from this tree.

Its natural habitat is found in the hardwood woods of the eastern United States and eastern Canada. Surprisingly, the maple leaf is also the Canadian national symbol, specifically the sugar maple leaf.

These maples have biological components in their leaves, bark, and sap that have the potential to reduce inflammation, which is the primary driver of many different illnesses and diseases.

I order two sugar maples. They seem like they are in good shape but they are very small. I guess I will have more time to enjoy watching them grow up.
