The American Persimmon Tree (Jumbo) grows well in USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9. It typically thrives in Full Sun and has a 12-24 Inches growth rate per year. Once full grown they can reach a height of 30-50 Feet and 25-30 Feet in spread. The American Persimmon Tree (Jumbo) does well or is tolerant in Well-Drained Loamy, moist soil. In fall expect to see the leaves transition to a beautiful hue of Yellow, pink, red or purple. With proper conditions they will produce Fruits that are edible to humans. Be ready to see a variety of wildlife drawn to the American Persimmon Tree (Jumbo) as they can attract Birds, deer and small mammals. Once in bloom the flowers will be White, yellow in color. When receiving your plant they will ship to you between 2-3 Feet in height. We unfortunately can not send these to the following states: AK, CA, HI. We apologize!
