The American Cranberry Bush (Viburnum trilobum) is a beautiful, deciduous shrub known for its striking white flower clusters in the spring and its bright red berries in the fall. The berries, which resemble cranberries, are tart and perfect for making sauces, jams, and jellies. The shrub also provides year-round interest with its vibrant green foliage, which turns a brilliant red in the fall. The American Cranberry Bush is perfect for ornamental planting, hedges, or wildlife gardens, attracting birds and pollinators with its flowers and fruit.

The shrub’s adaptability and low-maintenance care make it a great addition to any garden, especially those designed to attract birds and wildlife.

Planting Tips:

Plant your American Cranberry Bush in early spring or fall in a sunny location with well-drained soil. Bush was packed well, it looks like it had started to sprout at some point, but the sprouts are dead, hoping it will come to life at other points.

    Pleased with my purchase

    Posted by AcA on 05/31/21

I bought two cranberries. They arrived as bare rooted stems. If I remember correctly, they were the first to sprout leaves. The stems and roots on my entire order (2 persimmon, 2 cranberry, 2 hazelnut) looked healthy. Both of my cranberries continue to thrive in zone 9. I would recommend The Tree Store to any green thumb out there. They are upfront about what to expect so read thoroughly. Happy gardening.

I ordered some trees last year 2 of them didn't make it and when I ordered this year the tree store replaced the 2 from last year along with my new order! Plus they were generous with the free gifts. The whole order came alive and beautiful and they are looking great! Thank you!

I am very happy with both. They arrived in good condition, look very healthy and even though dormant, both are nicely shaped. I will be buying more to feed the birds. Thank you!

Lovely little trees I was very pleased. I’m always nervous ordering from a new place but my shipment arrived at a good time, in good condition and nice little trees. I was surprised to see the roots even had moisture retaining gel crystals on them and no dried out roots at all.
