The American Butternut Tree grows well in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-7. It typically thrives in Full Sun and has a Moderate growth rate per year. Once full grown they can reach a height of 40-60 Feet and 35-50 Feet in spread. The American Butternut Tree does well or is tolerant in Moist rich, loamy soil. In fall expect to see the leaves transition to a beautiful hue of Yellow. With proper conditions they will produce Nuts that are edible to humans. Be ready to see a variety of wildlife drawn to the American Butternut Tree as they can attract Birds, Insect pollinators, and Small mammals. When receiving your plant they will ship to you between 2-3 Feet in height. We unfortunately can not send these to the following states: AK, CA, HI. We apologize!     The trees were very well packed and looked good upon arrival. I have them planted. It is too soon to know how they will grow

    They arrived unbroken in good cardboard box. I have planted them watered them. Can't say anymore until I see how they grow. Thank you for the product.

    The trees were well prepared and packed; I planted them almost immediately and they are looking very well, sporting some nice new shoots.
