The Witch Hazel Shrub grows well in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8. It typically thrives in Full Sun and has a Moderate growth rate per year. Once full grown they can reach a height of 15-30 Feet and 15-25 Feet in spread. The Witch Hazel Shrub does best in Moist, Well-Drained Alkaline, Clay soil. In fall expect to see the leaves transition to a beautiful hue of Yellow. With proper conditions they will produce Seeds that are edible to humans. Be ready to see a variety of wildlife drawn to the Witch Hazel Shrub as they can attract Small mammals and birds. Once in bloom the flowers will be Yellow in color.     So happy to see the potential for this lovely shrub to become a colorful part of our landscape. Honestly, the plant that arrived did not look as good as another that is not performing as well. This 1 is a winner for Central PA. ;)
