The American Beech Tree grows well in USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9. It typically thrives in Full to Partial Sun and has a 12-24 Inches growth rate per year. Once full grown they can reach a height of 50-70 Feet and 35-50 Feet in spread. The American Beech Tree does well or is tolerant in Moist, Well-Drained Rich, Acidic soil. In fall expect to see the leaves transition to a beautiful hue of Bronze. With proper conditions they will produce Nuts that are edible to humans. Be ready to see a variety of wildlife drawn to the American Beech Tree as they can attract Birds, Chipmunks, and Squirrels.
